I am originally from Mexico City and came to Canada at a young age. I am fully bilingual and consider myself native in both Spanish and English. I hold graduate degrees from YALE UNIVERSITY in Classical Music Performance (MM, AD) and I am currently in the process of finishing the Diploma Program in Professional Translation through the UNIVERSITY OF TORONTO. I am a member of the freelance Translators Site, "Proz".

I am fully immersed in my culture both through family and through regular travel to Mexico in order to maintain a close contact with the nuances of the language and the culture. I also have a number of years of experience in proofreading and editing through the family printing/publishing business.
